JOB OBJECTIVES:
  • Sell and Promote: Market and promote products manufactured and distributed by SPS Medical and all other manufacturing and distribution subsidiaries of the group, leveraging strong technical product knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
  • Client Relationships: Initiate and maintain business relationships with customers and prospects to establish medium-term partnerships.
  • Brand Promotion: Enhance the company’s brand image.

MISSIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Analyze client needs and provide appropriate technical advice, conducting on-site training to ensure proper product use.
  • Market Research: Provide data for market research studies.
  • Sales & Prospecting: Execute a regular program of client visits and prospecting activities.
  • Sales Meetings: Participate in sales meetings organized by the Sales Director and the Sterimed Group’s Sales and Marketing Management.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate commercial conditions within pre-established limits (prices, discounts, payment terms).
  • Promotional Activities: Participate in promotional activities in your area as needed.
  • Visit Planning: Prepare a weekly visit schedule.
  • Reporting: Prepare an electronic report after each client visit.
  • Equipment Demonstrations: Perform demonstrations of equipment such as sealers and other products sold by the group.
  • Installation & Training: Assist with the installation and training on sterilization equipment like sealers and other devices sold by the group.
  • Market Intelligence: Report relevant information to superiors regarding competitors and market potential.
  • Internal Communication: Regularly liaise with commercial assistants about developments in your area.
  • Request Handling: Forward client inquiries to commercial assistants as needed.
  • Offer Analysis: Analyze specific product offers when required.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve product-related disputes as needed.
  • Debt Collection: Actively engage in collecting overdue payments from clients in your area.
  • Product Development: Participate in technical surveys related to the development of new products.
  • Equipment Maintenance: When necessary, provide maintenance for sealing equipment or coordinate repairs with subcontractors based on the level of fault identified.
  • Safety and Compliance: Implement all necessary actions to ensure safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance.
 
REQUIRED PROFILE:
  • Education: Bac +2/3 level (e.g., U.T, BTS, Bachelor's) with a specialization in sales/commerce/technical or health-related fields.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in sales and client relations.
  • Tender Management: Knowledge in managing responses to public tenders.
  • Company Knowledge: Strong understanding of company activities, products, client types, and competitive environment.
  • Sales Techniques: Proficiency in sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Medical Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the medical field and sterilization techniques.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and/or Spanish (not essential for job duties but beneficial for internal communication within the group).
  • Skills: Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including office software; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (ideally SAP).
  • Customer Service Orientation: Strong client service and business acumen.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to argue and convince; a good "negotiator."
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to engage effectively and understand the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: High adaptability to collaborate with all departments within the company.
